The paper first presents different stages of establishing a firm and its\u2019 distinctive characteristic. Then we explain the characteristics of networking in different stages of the establishment of the firm by the means of two analytical models \u2013 that of March\u2019s \u201cExchange power model\u201d and Burt\u2019s \u201cStructural holes model\u201d in the terms we have called \u201csoft\u201d and \u201chard\u201d networking.
